From 2020 our weekend match format has changed, we no longer run matches 'seasonally' and from Winter previous year through Spring/Summer current year.
From 2020 matches/league will run as per calendar year, generally starting in March and ending in November, this 'season' having thirteen matches as detailed below (reduced due to COVID 19 in 2020).
With this new format for weekend matches (All Saturday's unless stated otherwise), members need to have paid subs by 8:45am on match day, draw takes place at 9:00am and matches will fish wherever possible 10:30 - 3:30 all are of five hour duration. Subs payable by debit/credit card ONLY.
Match referee on day has final decision on timings along with the host fishery.

From July 2020, all match payments must be by debit/credit card/contactless. We will no longer accept cash/cheques |

| Match Payouts |
From July 2020 any match payouts will be by BACS transfer to recipients bank account, no cash payments or alternative payment methods. Onus is on the recipient to ensure the club has correct banking details, ie, account name, sort code, account number, otherwise delayed payment or non-payment could occur.
Payouts are normally completed on the evening following the match (subject to having correct banking information). |
| Weekend Matches |
We now have a three tier price for weekend matches. Anglers have the following options:-
£10.00 - for those who just want to fish against others for the fun of it, with nothing to be won wherever they finish in the match.
£12.00 - for those who feel they have a chance of winning a section but not confident (nor eligible for) a top three place.
£20.00 - for those who feel confident of getting a top three place or a section win. Note that if they do get in top three and win section, the section win money would default to the next highest weighing angler in that section.
All monies received covers cost of peg, remainder is paid out for top three/sections, none isretained by the club. |
| Golden Peg |
We no longer do Golden Peg or contribute to it, however the money in the fund is on offer at each weekend match, by way of two draws per match, whoever wins and has drawn one of the Golden Pegs will receive £50 in addition to match winnings. This will continue across all weekend matches until the Golden Peg fund is used up. |

Midweek League - All matches take place on a Tuesday and are ideal for those who are available to fish, eg, shift workers, pensioners, juniors on school holiday and those damn keen anglers who can book a day off work!
As all of our car trips this midweek league, transport is by your own method and draw takes place at 9.00am. Rules are as per each venue so please check. Not all venues can provide food/breakfast so be prepared.
'All-in' subject to clarification on match day is usually 10.30am for a five hour match duration, typically 10.30am - 3.30pm. |
