Only our third midweek match due to a delayed start this year.
Six anglers made the journey to Golborne for this match, dunno why low numbers, holidays, weather forecast who knows.
Weather today was actually close to unbearable, with air temperature at 33 degrees celsius and that wasn't in direct sun! Combined with high pressure and next to no breeze at all, was like being in an oven all day!
So when you see umberella's on the match photo's, that's not keeping rain off, it's keeping the blazing sun off!
Draw was completed for 9:00am and the match fished 10:30 - 3:30.
It was a long long day with bites few and far between, you could see the fish cruising but just not interested, who can blame em in this weather.
The match concluded at 3:30 and followed shortly after by the weigh-in conducted by James and Frank.
Well done to everyone for enduring the weather with extra congrats to our winner Geoff Burgess, who with a handful of Carp won the match fishing on corn and pellet down the side.
Match report link above shows you weigh sheet in 'peg number order', as opposed to organised by position/weight below.
Hope to see you on a match soon, the next two matches are:-
Saturday 15th August - Partridge Lakes - Covey 5 (Weekend League)
Tuesday 1st September - Moss Farm - Madisons (Midweek League)
