Alternative name 'the case of the disappearing angler!'.

Sixteen anglers initially turned up for this match, fair to say the weather initially was bad with gusty wind and heavy, heavy rain!
We welcomed new member Mark Dineley to the POHAS possee, a baptism of rain today, but he like twelve others, stuck it out.
James sorted pegs out and draw was completed by 8.30am with match scheduled for 10.00 - 3.00.
James also drew the cursed Golden Peg today.
Just before the all-in our first angler disappeared Ken, who decided he wasn't going to sit and fish in the prevailing conditions.
Ten minutes after the all-in our second angler decided to bail out, that was Paul Roby.
The match started at 10.00 as arranged, the wind easing but the rain still persistent (take a look at photo gallery, that'll give you a hint).
Half way through the match Chairman Frank disappeared off home for a change of clothes (over an hour round trip), and appeared 90 minutes later to continue.
Shortly after that Chris also decided to disappear and do a quick change, also to return sometime later.
Finally, for disappearing anglers, Phil Morris decided enough was enough with about an hour of the match to go. His nether regions were extremely wet and extremely cold!
The rain did ease towards the end of the match the wind also eased but still a tough day under the conditions we had.
