From 2020 our weekend match format has changed, we no longer run matches 'seasonally' and from Winter previous year through Spring/Summer current year.
From 2020 matches/league will run as per calendar year, generally starting in March and ending in November, this 'season' having thirteen matches as detailed below (reduced due to COVID 19 in 2020).

With this new format for weekend matches (All Saturday's unless stated otherwise), members need to have paid subs by 8:45am on match day, draw takes place at 9:00am and matches will fish wherever possible 10:30 - 3:30 all are of five hour duration. Subs payable by debit/credit card ONLY.
Match referee on day has final decision on timings along with the host fishery.

 
   
IMPORTANT MATCH INFORMATION - JULY 2020 ONWARDS
 
Match Payment All match payments must be by debit/credit card/contactless. We will no longer accept cash/cheques
Match Payouts Match winnings will be by BACS transfer to recipients bank account, no cash payments or alternative payment methods. Onus is on the recipient to ensure the club has correct banking details, ie, account name, sort code, account number, otherwise delayed payment or non-payment could occur.
Payouts are normally completed on the evening following the match (subject to having correct banking information).
Weekend Matches

Match price increase, first time in almost 20 years, due to rising price of peg fees charged by fisheries, an additional £2.
This ensures, going forward the club can continue to provide matches for it's members.

We now have a three tier price for weekend matches. Anglers have the following options:-

£12.00 - for those who just want to fish against others for the fun of it, with nothing to be won wherever they finish in the match.

£14.00 - for those who feel they have a chance of winning a section but not confident (nor eligible for) a top three place.

£22.00 - for those who feel confident of getting a top three place or a section win. Note that if they do get in top three and win section, the section win money would default to the next highest weighing angler in that section.

All monies received covers cost of peg, remainder is paid out for top three/sections, none is retained by the club.

Match timing arrive and pay by 8:45am, draw at 9:00am and fish 10:30am - 3:30pm unless dictated by circumstance on the day.
Midweek
Matches

£10 - If you just want to fish match, nothing to win

£14 - Match and includes small contribution to pools money for top three
Golden Peg We no longer do Golden Peg or contribute to it, however the money in the fund is on offer at each weekend match, by way of a random draw, where the recipient will get £20. This will be done until fund is used up. Only those anglers who have previously contributed to Golden Peg fund are eligible for draw.

Midweek League - All matches take place on a Tuesday and are ideal for those who are available to fish, eg, shift workers, pensioners, juniors on school holiday and those damn keen anglers who can book a day off work!
Transport is by your own method and draw takes place at 9.00am. Attending members to have paid on match by 8:45am. Rules are as per each venue so please check. Not all venues can provide food/breakfast so be prepared.
'All-in' on match day is usually 10.30am for a five hour match duration, typically 10.30am - 3.30pm.
