In Oswestry today fishing at Weston Pools on the Clay Pit.
Weather was good blue skies, very little breeze and up to about 21 degree's in the sun, some pegs didn't get to see the sun and was markedly cooler in those spots.
Having been on this water on two previous occasions (2017 & 2019), this third visit has been the most disappointing with respect of weights. Most fish didn't seem interested today.

Well done Phil Clare who has won all three visits we have had to the Clay Pit.

Slightly confusing as by weight and points Dave Kell was third, but only paid and competed for section win not top three, so third by pools money defaults to Demi Dayton and Dave to section win, as it happens today third and section win was the same £12. Dave of course still gets the correct points awarded, as do all anglers.
