Match report provided by our chairman for this match due to holidays.

First coach trip this year and 18 anglers made the journey.
We had the whole lake to ourselves and everyone was looking forward to a great day. THe weather was overcast but no rain.
Breakfast was had at the fishery and afterwards it was off to our pegs.
Throughout the match Carp were scarce to come by which disappointed many anglers, that said Rob Healey amongst his catch caught a 13lb Carp which is biggest fish so far this season. He also got his top two smashed by another beast which he didn't manage to land.
After the all out, the weigh in was completed and the results can be seen below.
Sue Nicholson got Golden Peg today which cursed her with a DNW. Congratulations to the top three Alan, Lee and Rob.
After the match it was back on the coach and off to Chetwynd pub in Nuneaton for a Chinese meal and a few beers and the odd game of pool.
Thanks to Colin our driver who only made one wrong turn and to Jon Green for ferrying tackle to the venue in his van.
