Due to papperazzi absence, Neil Davies kindly prepared the following note for this our second of three Summer Sizzlers held as usual at Meadow View Fishery, Lymm.

19 fished today including some new faces and Juniors. (Andy K, Jude C, Tom D and Alex D.)

Weather sunny and warm for most of evening, slight breeze at times.

Fished better than last visit with fish caught all around lake.

Adam Hill won with 43lb of carp caught on pellet waggler fishing close to aerator. Mike Roylance second with 36lb fishing pellet on pole. and Paul Croft took 3rd place with just over 30lb mainly caught on method feeder.

Special mention for junior angler Jude Chapmanwho caught 3 good carp for over 20lb, did himself proud, beat many other more experienced anglers, another promising angler for the future!
