Third in our five match Junior series and today we were back at our Brownlee's Pool. Seven members arrived in time for the draw at 9.15am with the match fishing it's usual three hours from 10 - 1.
Adult club members were on hand to help and also devour our BBQ which consisted of Bacon Rolls, Hot Dogs and Burgers, with hot and cold drinks to swill it down.
The weather began dull but soon brightened up with the sun making an appearance and the temperature warming up to seventeen degrees.
It was a tough match today, not sure if it was the pollen coating the surface from our trees or the overnight rain that may have knocked the fish off. Good news was all of our Juniors were up to the task and none of them blanked.
Thanks to Alan who did the cooking today as well as the weigh-In.
Well done to all of our Junior anglers and especially our top three of Ethan, Kieran and Alex.
