First of our three Sunday evening matches, originally entitled our 'Summer Sizzlers', however the weather decided different today with constant rain and an air temperature of 9 degrees Celsius it didn't seem much like Summer.
The weather didn't put people off with twenty four members turning out in the not so great conditions. Even some of our Juniors came out and has to be said did very well.
Most baits seem to work from corn, pellet and worm all caught.
During the day on this same pool the winning weight was 58lb, so this evenings match of only four hours duration and a winning weight of 50lb 8oz was a respectable effort. Well done to our top three of James and the 'two Kev's'. Fourth place was our highest finishing Junior Adam Harman who caught most next to the reeds and hauled 37lb 2oz. Well done to everyone who fished and battled through the rain.
Hard luck to Colin our driver who decided to stand on two, yes two number four sections today! Lucky for you Roly wasn't here to witness it, but i'm sure he'll find out :)).
That's it for now, hope to see you on a match.
See you all soon......Tightlines.....
