Today's match at Brownlee's fished better than the first back in June. As tends to be the case with Brownlee's, the fish were keen up until about 11.00am, then they get harder to get after that!
Eight members fought it out today, and again it was a close contest.
Following yesterday evenings rain today turned out to have sunny intervals, the rain also making the fish a little more active and livened the water up.
Everyone was ready early so we fished 9.30am to 1.00pm. During this time everyone was fed bacon rolls, hot dogs and burgers by yours truly as our official chef Ken was away on other duties. Thanks to our adult helpers today, Mike, Joe, Frank, Roly, James and Alan, also to the parents who stayed.
Congratulations to all and well done the top three of Matt, Ethan and Joe.
