Second of five matches for Juniors this Summer, once again on our Brownlee's Pool.
It was a nice Summers Day, not too hot at about 21 degree's with no breeze to speak of.
Seven Juniors fishing today all on the main pool.
The draw took place as usual at 9.15am, 'all-in' was at 10.00am and the matched fished until 1.00pm.
Everyone caught which was good to see, and as is usual on our Junior matches everyone including parents and helpers were fed and watered. Our usual Chef (Ken) was unavailable today so Club Secretary deputised for this match.
Well done to everyone and congratulations to our top three James, Hannah and Joe. This was Joe's first match and a joint second is a good start, well done Joe.
Thanks to all who helped out today starting with our coach, John Bryan, James Bryan, Mike Lewis, Frank Davies, Paul Rowlands and me (Paul Bryan). Thanks also to the parents/grandparents who stayed on hand to help.
See you all at the next match on 10th July, we will be at Partridge Lakes for that match. We will either see you there or meet you at Brownlee's at 9.00am. Transport can be arranged from Brownlee's to Partridge Lakes if required.
Juniors remember to tell your friends, bring them along to the next match, plenty of people on hand to help with setting up, they can buy a licence on the day as well, so bring your friends. Don't forget we have prize night on the 1st October, where we give away loads of fishing goodies to our Junior members.....See you all soon!
