Junior League - Brownlee's Pool - 11th July 2009

 

Today was probably the best fishing for a Junior match for a few years.
All the hard work done on the pool by members is paying off.
We had seventeen Juniors again today and all but two caught.
The weather was overcast but warm. As usual we had a steady supply of hot dogs, burgers and pop, Ken the Chef was on hand to provide the food,
The biggest fish for Juniors has so far been set today with a Mirror Carp weighing in at 6lb 7oz. Will it win this year....we will have to wait and see as the next three matches are on commercial fisheries.
Thanks to everyone who turned out to help at todays match and eat the food! The next match is on Saturday 1st August at Sycamore Fishery near Golborne. We will meet at Brownlee's at 9.00am and travel to Sycamore from there.
Well done to all the Juniors today, look forward to seeing you on the next match...
