Today we had a Junior match on the Sankey Canal next to Waterways Car Park in Old Hall, Warrington.
Once again we had a match against the Junior members from Dallam Anglers. In total we had eighteen fishing, twelve from POHAS and six from Dallam.
The weather today was hit an miss. Although quite warm at about 21 degree's, there was hardly any breeze and from time to time we had some squally showers passing through.
It was a tough match today with six anglers unfortunately blanking.
As in previous years we served hotdogs to all those who fished and all those who helped out.
Thanks also to Louie, Dave and friends from Dallam who helped supervise todays match, along with our helpers, Frank, Roly, Ken, James, John, Alan, Mike, Ste and yours truly.
It was a close fought match with only drams seperating places in many instances.
Unfortunately we have a limited photo gallery for this match as your official papperazi was busy on catering duties, only managing to snatch a few pictures during the weigh-in.
Penketh & Old Hall came through with a win in the team event with William and Jack getting 1st and 2nd place respectively .
You will see below all those who fished, their weight caught and position and points.
Please note that some of Dallam Anglers are not involved with our league, therefore they show no points next to them and points awarded to the POHAS Juniors for the purposes of our league.
Well done to everyone, hope you enjoyed the match along with the food and drink. Look forward to seeing you all again soon...
