| Spring League - Dunham Fishery - 30th April 2007 |
| Second match in a series of three for our Spring League. We had a full house today with all 20 pegs being booked up! The weather continues to favour us. Although cool and cloudy first thing, and flies annoying us, it soon warmed up and the flies disappeared, as did the fish! Weights today were poor with several members blanking. Highlight of the day was Mike Lewis breaking his pole against his seat box. Bill O'Keefe was the unfortunate angler who drew the Golden Peg at this match, and again the Golden Peg remains elusive. We had some members absent today due to other match commitments, however looking at the Spring League, we have one match to go and it could be anybodys. So in a few weeks we will be at Lloyd's Meadow on the new pool, hope to see you there.. |
