Fourth out of our series of five Junior Summer matches and today we were at Meadow View Fishery in Lymm.
Thirteen Juniors made it to the match today and up until 1.00pm enjoyed a sunny day at about 21 degree's which cooled off when it started raining although fortunately not to heavy.
We started early and fished 10.30 - 1.30 and as usual our chairman went to the chippy to get everyone lunch which equated to twenty bags of chips! (We feed the parents and our helpers as well).
It was an unusually slow match today with catches very sporadic although as you will see below most people caught, no one particular method won the day, some on pole, some on whip some on rod/method feeder, bait too was varied, pellet, corn, maggot.
Dave Jnr from Meadow View did the weigh-in and the results can be seen below. Congratulations to everyone who fished, thanks to Mums, Dads and Grandparents for ferrying the Juniors. We have a biggest fish recorded as well for this season caught by Robbie who had a double whammy by winning the match as well!
Our final junior match is on Saturday 12th September at our Whitegate pool. In theory anyone in the current top six can win the league, so it's all to fish for in our final match, look forward to seeing you there.
Enjoy your fishing!
See you on a match soon.
