Last but one match for the Summer and a very brief match report due to papperazzi being absent, so no photo gallery either.
Nineteen members fished today and unlike up North, the rain held off in rural Worcestershire for this match at Woodlands View near Stourport.
No stop on the A5 for food today everyone dined at Woodlands in their cafe, which I believe took a while as other anglers on other matches had the same idea.
Eventually the draw took place and fished from 11.00am til 4.00pm. Today's recipient of the Golden Peg was Paul Morris who managed 8th today, so Golden Peg fund goes up again, hard luck Paul.
Has to be said that this was the best match so far this year based on weights, you will see the individual weights below which are excellent and a great day's sport for everyone. Well done to Kev, Ste and Alan for baggin' top three spots, and to everyone for a keenly contested match.
This was also the last coach trip for this year so thanks to Colin club member and fortunately for us owner of Tarbock Travel who keeps supplying us with coaches every year.
After the match everyone went off to the HoneyBee Pub near to the fishery for food and refreshments. We hear from our Chairman that the pub served Doombar which was very nice apparently!
The next and final Summer match is at Blundell's Farm on 17th September, look forward to seeing you there.
That's it for now,
See you all soon......Tightlines.....
