Final match in this year's Sizzler and for the forseeable future.
Only four anglers today which shows members have voted with their feet!
A shame, but all good things come to an end at some point.
That's not to say we won't resurrect it in future if circumstances are favourable.

Back to tonights match and the weather was glorious with blue skies, light breeze and an air temperature around 22 degree's.
Given the turnout, members agreed to have a rover rather than peg it out.
Match started at 5pm and finished as usual at 9pm.
Pellet I think was most favourable bait although Alan used maggot to get his swim going. Everyone was on the rod although Dave H dabbled with pole briefly before returning to the rod.
Well done to all those who have fished this league and well done to Dave H who won two out of the three sizzlers this year and to Dave Newton who won the league.

Next match is midweek on 19th July @ Lloyd's Meadow, may well see you there.
