Third match into our ten match midweek series and today we were at Lloyd's Meadow deep in Delamere Forest and fishing Heron Pool a pool we haven't fished for a few years, mainly due to the restrictive number of pegs for our Saturday matches, but nice n cosy for our midweek folks.
Another Summers day hitting the mid twenties Celsius, no significant breeze and hazy sun for most of the day.
Anglers were prompt, arriving at the venue for 8.00am.
Marc and Tony S took responsibility for pegging the lake as no actual peg numbers on the venue on this pool.
Pegging done, the draw took place at 8.30am and once again Tony S was the man with the horn sounding all-in at 10.00am and all-out at 3.00pm.
Papperazzi left after the draw as he had his day job to do, but arrived back in time for the weigh-in.
By all accounts and looking at the weights, it was a struggle today, Carp avoiding many pegs, silvers though quite prolific.
Thanks to Marc and Frank who took responsibility for the weigh-in. Results below for all to see.
Our next midweek match is two weeks today on 21st June, when we are back at Partridge Lakes where we are scheduled to fish on 'Ribbon'.
Look forward to seeing you soon - Tightlines . . .
