Final match of three in this year's Sunday Evening League.
The weather was glorious with Blue skies and sun and an air temperature of 20 degree's. We started with a slight breeze but that soon died off as the evening went on.
Thirteen members including four Junior members and a new Senior member came along on this fine Summer evening.
The draw took place at 4pm and the match being four hours fished 5pm to 9pm.
It was a great end to this league with action from beginning to end. Paul Morris hooked a fish and a Gull at the same time (see photo gallery), our Junior members were not put off by fishing with the adults, they were doing well in particular Ethan and Leon who were fighting fish for all of the match.
Mike Roylance for I think second match in a row cracked his landing net pole bringing a fish in.
Congratulations to Leon who in his first match against Seniors amongst his match winning catch also landed a 15lb 8oz Carp, great job Leon, hope you are not too tired after fighting with that beast for an hour!
During the course of the evening, i'm not sure if it was the weather or what but we had an influx of spectators, Stephen Tatlock not fishing, brought his wife along, as did Ray Wright....He even brought the papperrazzi's wife along (hello dear). It was like watching the Fish-O-mania final!!
After the all-out, Alan and James did the weigh-in.
What a night for our Juniors! Leon and Ethan came in first and second with John Bryan saving face for the Seniors by finishing third.
Well done to everyonewho fished the match, it has been another great series of matches, we will be doing it all over again in 2012, they are already booked, so put the following dates in your diaries:-

3rd June 2012, 1st July 2012 and 22nd July 2012
