Second Spring League match this year saw us on Moss Lake at Rosemary Wood Fishery.
We had 19 members on the match today.
The weather wasn't as bad as expected, the forcasted rain earlier in the week didn't appear and we even had some sunny intervals. However a stiff North Easterly breeze made it uncomfortable for some.
Golden Peg today was drawn by John Mysiak which cursed him into 8th place today.
Because of the stiff breeze, those fishing on pegs from 20 - 30 particularly suffered, with those on pegs 40 - 48 faired a little better.
The match was won by Mike Roylance, which is his first win with our club, so congratulations to Mike. This follows his second place on the last match at Border, so he is on course for a Spring League win if all goes well at the next match on Partridge Lakes on 22nd May.
