Second of this year's Junior League matches took place today at Brownlee's.
Once again the weather was quite kind and we saw glimpses of the sun throughout the day, although a blustery wind blowing across the pool didn't help matters.
Everyone was keen to get going today so all-in was 10 minutes early, giving the fourteen Junior members an extra 10 minutes fishing.
We were down on helpers today due to competition match commitments, however everyone coped OK and more importantly Ken our chef was there doing the important stuff cooking the burgers and the sausages.
Everyone caught, in particular Josh Rathbone who not only won the match, but has provisionally secured 'Biggest Fish' with a 6lb 11oz Carp. Let's see if that can be beaten in the next four matches???

See you at the next match which is on Sankey Canal on Sunday (yes Sunday) 3rd August. Meet on Waterways car park just off Cromwell Avenue at 9.00am. This match will also be a competition between us and Dallam Junior Anglers, as well as our own league.
