| Spring League - Partridge Lakes - 14th April 2007 |
| First match of the Spring League took place today at Partridge Lakes on Marsh Canal. With the temperature in the high 70's and the sun blazing down from a clear blue sky you would have thought it was August! Out of 20 pegs booked we had 19 members fishing, with everyone catching. Following the recent development of additional pools at Partridge lakes it 'appears' that most of the Carp have been taken out of Marsh Canal, as very few were caught, most popular on the day was Roach and Chub. The Golden Peg remains elusive yet again, with Tom Prescott being the unfortunate one today. Thanks to everyone who turned out (hope the sunburn wasn't too bad!). Congratulations to our top three, John, Phil And Ian. We look forward to seeing you all at the next match at Dunham Fishery on Saturday 28th April for the second of our three match 'Spring League' series. |
