The penultimate match of this Summer League took place at Larford Lakes.
The weather was kind, we had a good sunny day, however the weights caught today were well below expectations, and well below what was caught on a recent 'social' visit in mid-August.
The match today was for the 'Pairs Shield' and congratulations to Neil Turner and Ian Armstrong who got a total weight of 70lb 15oz.
There was also the individual result which saw Paul Roby win with a weight of 47lb 2oz, 2nd was Ian Armstrong with 44lb 9oz and 3rd Frank Davies with 36lb 10oz. Well done to everyone.
Bit of a numbers think going with Darren on peg 14 he weighed in at 14lb 14oz....That strange or what?
Shame we spent what felt like hours on the coach after trying to find a pub. Mr Robinson, any comments?
